SAYAJI SETHNESS LIMITED (SSL) is an ISO 9001: 2000 & ISO 14001: 1996 joint venture company formed by 50:50 equity partnership of Maize Products, India and Sethness Products Company, USA for the manufacture of liquid caramel colour.

Maize Products is the largest corn wet milling company in India from where the basic raw material for caramel—Liquid Dextrose—is sourced.

Sethness Products Company is the world’s largest caramel manufacturer since the last 120 years. SSL continuously relies on their latest technology and R&D support to manufacture the best quality caramel colour, meeting national and international standards.

SSL has a competent staff, which has been extensively trained at the collaborator’s plant in the US.

Currently, SSL’s installed capacity is 15,000 metric tones per annum. This has been created keeping in mind higher growth potential for the product in the near future. Like Sethness Products Company, USA, SSL too plans to be a dedicated caramel manufacturer in India.
